From Ayr proceed south on the A77. After passing through the village of Minishant turn left at signpost for Kirkmichael/Crosshill. On reaching Kirkmichael proceed through village and turn right at the signpost for Crosshill. Continue along this road for a mile and turn left at Threave Cottage. Continue along this road and Parkfairn is on the left hand side.
