Corum Looks To The Future with Marc Leslie Appointed as Deputy Managing Partner

‘Corum are delighted to announce that Marc Leslie has been appointed to the newly created role of Deputy Managing Partner. This significant step demonstrates our commitment to building upon our success and strategically positioning the company for continued growth and excellence in delivery of our market-leading services.

Marc’s journey with Corum began in 2012 when he joined as an apprentice. Through his dedication, consistent hard work, and notable commercial achievements, Marc quickly progressed to become a highly respected Partner, initially at our Newton Mearns office and subsequently taking on significant responsibilities at the Clarkston office.

In 2014, Marc played a key role alongside Managing Partner John Kelly in opening our Netherlee office, and his proactive approach and leadership were further exemplified in 2021, when he successfully launched our Clarkston office. These accomplishments have firmly established Marc as a leading figure within Glasgow’s property market.

At Corum, we strongly believe in nurturing talent internally and Marc’s progression epitomises this ethos. Transitioning from a legal background, Marc has leveraged our apprenticeship programme and internal development opportunities, demonstrating the career growth possible within our organisation.

Reflecting on his new appointment, Marc shared:

“This is an incredibly exciting moment, both for me personally and for the future of Corum. I am extremely fortunate to work with a wonderful team of talented and committed people across the group, whose efforts have made Corum the market-leading agency it is today. My apprenticeship, subsequent role as Associate Partner, and the past ten years of equity Partnership have provided me with invaluable insights and deep industry knowledge, allowing me to help effectively guide the company forward.”

‘Marc continues to operate out of the newly refurbished flagship Newton Mearns office where he started his career.’

Marc credits his longstanding working relationships across the Corum network, highlighting his partnership with fellow Newton Mearns Partner Mark Jamieson, and the influential mentorship from our Managing Partner John Kelly, as fundamental to his career development:

“I say this wholeheartedly – I have had the privilege of working with some of the very best in our industry and learning directly from one of its finest leaders. John’s vast experience, strategic vision and adaptability have provided invaluable guidance and prepared me thoroughly for this new chapter. I am proud to represent Corum and am fully committed to the ongoing success of our business.”

We warmly congratulate Marc on his new role and look forward to the positive impact his leadership will have on the continued growth and long-term success of Corum.
