  • Description
Designed by J.N. Fatkin and built between 1937 and 1938, this striking Glasgow Art Deco landmark development sits comfortably back from and runs parallel with Great Western Road. Kelvin Court is set in well-tended and landscaped gardens, with shared residents', first come first served parking to the front. The property, situated on the fourth floor with lift access, is in need of some modernisation, but offers the new owner the opportunity to refurbish exactly how they wish.

The internal accommodation comprises, welcoming reception hall, large lounge with south west facing balcony off to the rear, two spacious double bedrooms, WC, family bathroom that still has the stunning emerald and black original 1930’s Vitrolite glass tiling and a breakfasting kitchen, with back door to the common residents’ hall.

In addition, the property benefits from residents parking, gas central heating via a communal system, double glazing and as previously mentioned, spacious landscaped gardens with seating, including ‘The Meadow’ to the rear. It should also be noted, the property is within the List 1 catchment for Jordanhill School.

The highly regarded David Lloyd Leisure Centre is located close by which, via membership, offers a host of recreational facilities and even has an outdoor swimming pool.
