A superb, elevated ground floor, two bedroom conversion in the heart of Glasgow’s famous Park District.

    Description
This fabulous A listed former townhouse was built in circa 1835 and designed by George Smith. In recent years, the building has been converted into luxury apartments and the elevated ground floor is one of the first examples in terms of space and location of its kind.

The building has a secure entry system leading to a striking residents hall and the accommodation comprises; welcoming reception hall, stunning open plan sitting room and kitchen with beautiful cornice work and fireplace. To the rear, are two very well-proportioned double bedrooms, both with stylish, modern en-suites and the second bedroom has access to a rare, private terrace. The principal en-suite is also Jack and Jill to the hall.

In addition, the property has gas central heating, beautiful original features and is South facing, thus benefiting from wonderful light through the day. Access to the front residents gardens is also available for an annual fee and permitted on street parking is available via Glasgow City Council.

    Local Area

Arguably the most sought after and desirable location in Glasgow, is the Park.

The Park District area is bordered by the City Centre, Kelvingrove, Kelvingrove Park and Woodlands. Park Circus was built between 1855 and 1863. Many of the area’s large townhouses which were converted to offices during the latter half of the 20th century are being returned to residential use. It was declared a Conservation Area in 1970.

One of the main attributes of the Park area is the accessibility of both the West End’s and City Centre’s wide range of amenities. Park offers a leafy tranquil surrounding yet is only minutes from access to the M8 at Charing Cross.

There is excellent local and private schooling in the area and an underground station at Kelvinbridge. It is also an ideal location for those looking to study at Glasgow University.
